OBJECTIVES & PLANNING
- Reduce / eliminate errors in pre-analytical stage especially registration and sampling.
- Reduce the uncertainty of test performance
- Increase the accuracy of results
- Increase the percentage utility of reagents
- Eliminate post analytical errors
- Eliminate dispatch errors
- Effectively decrease the TAT
- Increase the number of tests performed in house
- Eliminate the equipment down time and computer down time
- Reduce the staff turnover
- Increase the home services to the patients
- Increase the overall business turnover
ESTABLISHMENT :
- 1980 – Pathology Lab ESTABLISHMENT.
- 1994 – Pathology Lab, X-Rays , USG & ECG services added.
- 2010 – OPG (Dental X rays), Echocardiogram and Colour Doppler added.
- 2013 – Physiotherapy services started.
- 2015 – PFT (Pulmonary / Lung Function Test) introduced.
- 2019 – Shifted under single roof on an entire floor (Current).
- 2021 – Established RTPCR Lab
ACHIEVEMENTS :
- First stand alone Lab in Mumbai to be accredited by NABL under ISO 17025 in year 2002.
- Amongst the first to introduce Digital Radiology.
- First Lab in Mumbai AND Second in India to achieve accreditation under ISO 15189:2012.
MANPOWER :
- Administered by Doctorate in Health Services Management.
- 3 Qualified Consultants (MD) in Pathology & Microbiology.
- 5 Qualified Consultants (MD) in Cardiology , Pulmonology & Radiology (DMRE).
- Staff of 35 , for Managerial and Technical work with many having experience of > 20-25 years in the same organisation.
EQUIPMENT :
- 35 +, State of art equipment for test performance in various fields.
